Eugene the Cat founded in 2012. by sax player Martin Scheran, guitarist Tobias Paal and and producer Philipp Stemberger created a mixture of Electronic beats and funky swing and jazz vibes. From the clubs to the big stage – Eugene the Cat will freak you out! On stage, drummer Alexander Neubauer and singer Carolina Putz-Campos bring the full line up to life!

The unique sound consists of electroswing, ghettofunk and a characteristic synth-bassline combined with the sounds of sax, guitar and the brilliant voice of Carolina.  Influenced by artists like Caravan Palace, Parov Stelar, Koan Sound and the jazz legends Django Reinhard, Charlie Parker and Chet Parker Eugene the Cat is reviving the sounds of the good old days in the 21st century.

2015, Eugene the Cat won the "Austrian Newcomer Award"! To celebrate this, Eugene the Cat will perform at the Urban Art Festival, in Italy, in Switzerland and in Austria. And there is a cooperation with a producer in the UK – so be excited!
