The Badpiper is rapidly becoming the world's most recognised piper, dubbed 'The world's only flame throwing, leather clad, heavily tattooed, heavy metal piper'. The Badpiper shot to fame in 2010 when he wowed the judges and the nation by making it all the way to the finals of Australia's Got Talent (AGT).
"You treated that like a lead guitarist in a rock band, I've never heard a bagpipe used like that before." Brian McFadden, Australia's Got Talent Audition
"The Badpiper! It's one of those things that you see and you go... I didn't know I wanted to see that until I saw it... It was brilliant." Dannii Minogue, Australia's Got Talent Audition
Following closely after AGT finals, The Badpiper was invited to join the world famous, Crusty Demons on their national tour of Australia. The Thirst for Destruction tour saw the Crusty Demons and The Badpiper perform to sell out crowds in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
Having released three albums to date; Music For The Kilted Generation, Liverdance and Tradical, The Baddie, as he is commonly known, set about releasing his fourth and greatest album to date, Burn.
Burn was released to the public in June 2013. Shortly after its release, a video of The Baddie playing a cover of AC/DC's Thunderstruck on his flaming bagpipes went rampantly viral, showing up on the websites of almost every major media site in the world resulting in over two million hits in a week on YouTube alone.
The Badpiper's rise to fame has been phenomenal to say the least. To top it all off in August 2013 he was invited to play to an audience of over 70,000 people, at the world's biggest heavy metal festival, Wacken Open Air with German heavy metal giants, Grave Digger.
This meteoric rise now sees The Badpiper looking forward to a future of international tours, festivals, and corporate and public events. Taking with him, his now globally recognised catch phrase, "Freeeeedumb!!!!"
