    • Why establish Fizzion when for many years we've had a great reputation with FRUSION .. well its very simple here you will find many music's and art forms that do not fit well with our original musical vision which was for an agency devoted to what some have described as "world music" .. actually the term means little really as what is world music but music of the world. Actually all the principles I founded Frusion for are the same for FIZZION, just the subject matter, the music is different.

    For establishing Fizzion as an agency is to ensure that everyone gets a fair deal and that promoters and artists alike know exactly what to expect from each other no inflated fee quotes, excellent service in a very demanding entertainments industry and above all honesty and good advice in the way we work for you. If there are problems we always strive to solve them!

    Our raison d étre? Is still a firm commitment to equal opportunities, and access to the arts that bind us all together regardless of race creed colour religion or physical, mental ability.. To encourage working together to create mutual understanding.

    And why the name FIZZION???

    Well to fizz is to bring a sparkle to you and others .. and fission? well lets take a look at this dictionary definition which hints at separate things (musicians maybe/musical thoughts)

    "In nuclear physics and nuclear chemistry, nuclear fission is either a nuclear reaction or a radioactive decay process in which the nucleus of an atom splits into smaller parts"

    And the result? .. the release of great energy .. in other words we are presenting here music, dance and related art forms that release great creative energy and provide for amazing energy filled performances.. that is our idea of FIZZION

    FIZZION is run and owned by Ian Smith - a promoter, event co-ordinator, programmer multi-instrumentalist and activist in the UK music scene in the UK for over 30 years
